Dmitry Lopatin is a Canadian cinematographer based in Toronto, Canada. After graduating with a BFA in film production from York University, Dmitry has been building his body of work primarily through feature films. His latest work, I Don’t Know Who You Are, premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. His previous film, Neon Lights, can be found on Netflix and was nominated by the Canadian Society of Cinematographers for his work. Dmitry also lensed Queen of the Morning Calm, Gloria Kim’s award-winning debut feature. The film premiered at Whistler Film Festival in 2019. Dmitry’s journey as a cinematographer began with shooting the award-winning web series Teenagers (2014-2017), which received a nomination from the CSC. Dmitry also works in commercial and documentary, collaborating with brands such as Subaru, Cuisinart, Tim Hortons, Diabetes Canada, Enbridge, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, and CISCO.
